Replacing My Expired Shoes

Went back to the shoe shop during lunch time. I was worried the taukey will try to make excuses for not going to replace it.

Surprisingly, they were so helpfull... I said "is this ori?"... taukey said "ya ya ya... tat y we will change it... we will claim it from the supplier...". And the taukey also siad "you can use it for 1 week and if something goes wrong with it, you can come back...". Wah... this is good... so i was happy... they ask me to get another shoes as long it priced the same. I end up getting a cheaper shoes and asked to get a socks too... well its looks like after adding it up, it still cheaper... but i said, what the heck... after all they giving a good service... from :O to :) The replacement shoes is Camel Active Nautor II.

Bee Stung Me!

While flipping between TV3 News and Golf Channel on Astro just before 9pm... thunggg... a sound came from the ceiling fan. A bee landed on my lap! On my pants! The bee was hit by the fan blade... it looks lost & hurt...

I was stunned for a minute... I just stare at the bee. Then I realized it was in attacking possition... butt pointing down and its head curling down towards its but... goshh... its butt was pumping... it actually trying to sting me although the bee looks lost & injured... luckily it was on my pants!!! Then I knock it off using my fingger... it landed on the floor. But it left behind its sting on my pants.

Bought New Shoes But Expired In Less Than A Day

I bought a shoes today during lunch time at Centre Point. I've been using CAMEL brands for soo long and now it is called Active Camel. I bought the Forester III model, sized 8. It's a bit tight, thinking it will loosen in few days. I wore it immediately and had lunch there. Around 5pm, I felt the shoe are no longer tight... when I check it, this is how it looks like... :O

Visit to Beaufort

Today I went to Beaufort to fix the network at our branch office. We started our journey around 9am. We stop over at Papar district for a drink. We stop over at a place called 'pasar'... it is actually a food court.

On the table are packets of 'keropok'.

My drink.... 'teh o ping'.... iced tea! :)

Yummy.... my food.... 'roti kosong'.

Pricing for 'bakso'.... food originated from Indonesia I think. It was in one of the game in the 1st AXN Amazing Race Asia.

A boy enjoying his bakso.... too bad, I didn't took the bakso picture.

Fast Computer: I want my computer to switch on like radio. The moment I switch it on, the sound comes out!... quoted by a client in computer shop.

Unreliable Computer: I think, if my computer keeps on breaking down after you fix it, I suggest the next time it breaks, you modify it into flower pot!... quoted by fren, Yen.

At last, Malaysia got its WiMAX

At last, the biggest ICT news Malaysian are waiting for was announced on the 15th March 2007. Four companies have been awarded with the 2.3GHz broadband wireless access spectrum or WiMAX licences. Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access or WiMAX is defined in the IEEE 802.16 standard. It is also know known as WirelessMAN.
The award was devided into 2 sectors: First sector is Peninsular Malaysia and the second sector is Sabah & Sarawak.
For the Peninsular sector, there are three licenses:
1. Bizsurf (M) Sdn Bhd
2. MIB Comm Sdn Bhd
3. Asiaspace Dotcom Sdn Bhd.
And for the Sabah & Sarawak sector, it is for Redtone-CNX Broadband Sdn Bhd.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) said, all the winners are expected to quickly roll out the service to 25 per cent of the population in the area given to them by end of this year (2007), with a service provision of at least 1Mbps (earlier, end of 2006, it was announced that the minimum speed is at guaranteed 2Mbps - not at best effort!) at affordable rates. It is expected, at the end of third year, they will be able to roll services to at least 40 per cent of the population in the areas given to them. Each of the companies is expected to invest between RM250 million and RM300 million in the first three years of the WiMAX implementation.
Although it supposed to be the biggest news, it is also an upset news. None of the big telcos manage obtain the license. One reason is that, the big telcos who are currently holding the 3G license can roll out their wireless broadband service through the High-Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA. HSDPA is able to reach 3.6Mbps speed.

My Golf

I went to golf practice this morning. So tiring, hit 100 balls. I'm the laziest person to train... in a month, I go to the driving range between 0 - 3 times... it all depends if someone calls me to join in the driving range... I never go by myself.
My sets are all Titleist except my putter... the classic Cleveland putter. Currently inside my Titleist bag are:
1. Titleist 735CM irons with Dynamic Gold S300 shaft
2. Titleist Pro Titanium 905R driver with Aldila NV 65 shaft, 9.5 degrees
3. Titleist 585H utility metals with Aldila NV 85 Hybrid shaft, 17 degrees
4. Cleveland Classic Putter.
Golfer might think i'm nuts... yea, i don't have handicap but i'm not pro... lol... that's becoz i don't have! i'm not tested yet! i have not submitted 20 score card yet! lol... but i own all the stiff shaft... ^^
